Victoria Sponge! (Nanny's Recipe)

Nanny Mayhew gave me her Victoria Sponge recipe
This cake is an English institution...perfect for tea time
YUM! YUM! YUM!

And I've started knitting. Nanny taught me that too - she's the best. I'm making a big scarf :)

*I* want a Maggy Marshmallow scarf. I really like the yarn you're using. It looks incredible.

Hi Maggie,

The sponge cake looks scrumptious! Yes, it would be perfect with tea! And it looks so pretty on the cake standard. I'd love to make it for a spring tea party with my granddaughters!

You're knitting! I've been teaching Melissa's girls to knit and crochet. Your scarf looks wonderful so far--nice even stitches. Love the colors!

Heart-shaped pancakes! How sweet! It is the little things we do for our family which really tell them how much we care. Andy is a lucky guy!

Who is Nanny? She must be very special!
